Another Try

Today we are giving it another try for filming our scenes at the park. We all first started by waking up really early getting ready and meeting at the location at a set time. Actress shae had to get back in costume making sure everything looked as before. We headed over to the park and started to take a look around to check if there is anyone presently there. We figured that we have came so early that even if there is a event planned like last time we were sure they weren't gonna be doing it at 9am in the morning. Looking around there was no one there no joggers, parties, volleyball players, basketball players, it was just a plain sight. For starters we started off with a mid shot of the actress putting on her head phones. The next shot is the actress dropping her phone as it falls on the ground. This was recorded as a tilt shot to really show the dramatics and weakness of the situation not knowing what is about to happen. The actress then bends down to pick up her phone. This was recorded as a low angle again to show the mood of the scene and creating more emotions. We next turned this over to a over the shoulder shot of the actress grabbing her phone. Here you can see her eyeline of what she is seeing of the subject in the frame. Next was a low angle of the actress sitting back up from picking up her phone. A low angle was used again to show the vulnerability the actress carries at this point in the film. Next we introduced the the male actress kendrick. We started with shae remaining in the swing and having kendrick come behind her. We used a long shot for this shot to really show the actresses  what is actually occuring in this situation. Around this time there was a car pulling into the parking lot of the park so we took a break. This was good timing because we just were about to start the kidnapping scenes and we wanted to be cautious on who seen. There was a group of boys getting out the car with a basketball so we figured they will be playing basketball. This isnt a issue to what we were doing because the court was located towards the back of the park were we would not be having any interactions. After they walked away we carried on with filming with the next scene. Here is a close up shot of kendrick putting his hand over shae's mouth. Here is a close up shot because we wanted to show the fear in shae eyes and the distress look her eyes gave to the camera. He then next whispers be quite as she remains having the anxious look in her face.

 For this project I will be conducting a music video on the song Foolish by Ashanti released in 2002. In this music video I will be recreating a minute worth of footage to use with a minute worth of the audio from the song Foolish. I started this process off with researching R&B soul music videos watching and taking notes on certain background, props, movements and vibes created that were acted in these R&B soul videos. One thing I realized I had to do was watch more videos that scripted relationship scenes just like in the actual song foolish by ashanti. I already had pictures in my mind of myself and the actor finding ways to recreate a type of feelings of old school throwback vibes and looks. In order to get this type of look some senses will have to be more dimmed and props and costumes will look more old school and less advanced things we have in the year 2020. Critical Reflection Questions

 1.  How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? My product uses challenges and conventions through there being different options and options to choose from. The definition of a vacuum is " an electrical apparatus that by means of suction collects dust and small particles from floors and other surfaces.'' Now this Can represent social groups or issues due to the competitiveness of how different vacuums work and which ones are better. For example my product specifically the shark rotator vacuum could cause issues because this is the one vacuum that has a powerful lift away and the most powerful suction. Someone could argue how there vacuum is better then mines and that's how it causes social groups through commercials or adds there are going to be hundreds of the same type of product but in different form and with different techniques. 2.
