Big inconveniences

 It is currently 3/13/21, even though we are a few days behind on the original dates we had discussed its okay because we did start early and still have a bunch of time left. Today was a couple days after filming all the scenes indoors. Today we decided that we will give it a try to go to the park and start recording our park scenes. It is currently a Saturday and actress kendrick and Teresa are on set and we have everything we need to continue. Looking at the location there isn't anyone we can see here yet the weather is good and it looks like the perfect day. To start this off we needed to get shae back in her costume exactly how we recorded a few days ago. She has put on her stockings, same shirt, shoes, and her pants as worn before. Now as filmed before her hairstyle was just down with her bangs in her face. Today we realized that it did look quite more frizzy then it did before so we just put water on it and waiter for it to dry up a little bit. After she was all ready to go we headed to the location of the park. There is a inbetween scene of the actress walking to the park crossing the street. We recording this as a pan shot to really have the audience in the moment as well making it feel and vivid as can be. Now after recording that one scene as we all headed over to the parking lot to make sure shae looked ready we had everything in place a big inconvenience occurred. There was a truck pulling into the park and we waited for the people to get out hoping they just were going to walk through the park but unfortunately that wasn't the case. There was a mom and a dad pulling out balloons, coolers, a speaker, tables, goody bags, the list went on. We already all knew what this meant. There was absolutely no way we would be able to film while there is a whole party occuring right behind us. That wasn't only it the pavilion is right in front of the parking lot which is where most scene are going to occur for the day and we needed the swing set as well. We all knew that this could have been a possibility and this is the exact reason we are recording early because if we had to bump into 10 different problems on 10 different days we would have the time and the patience. We knew that we would need hours to perfect this and we did even think about just notifying the people that this is a film and there is no real kidnapping going on but there are more issues than just that. We realized we also have to consider the fact of everyone health because of covid there will be plenty of kids touching the swings surrounding us and it just wasn't worth the risk. Our final decision was just to pack up and notify each other when our next chance of good weather and no people at the park so we can give filming another try again.

Today we are giving it another try for filming our scenes at the park. We all first started by waking up really early getting ready and meeting at the location at a set time. Actress shae had to get back in costume making sure everything looked as before. We headed over to the park and started to take a look around to check if there is anyone presently there. We figured that we have came so early that even if there is a event planned like last time we were sure they weren't gonna be doing it at 9am in the morning. Looking around there was no one there no joggers, parties, volleyball players, basketball players, it was just a plain sight. For starters we started off with a mid shot of the actress putting on her head phones. The next shot is the actress dropping her phone as it falls on the ground. Research blog : Music Video Conventions

 For this project I will be conducting a music video on the song Foolish by Ashanti released in 2002. In this music video I will be recreating a minute worth of footage to use with a minute worth of the audio from the song Foolish. I started this process off with researching R&B soul music videos watching and taking notes on certain background, props, movements and vibes created that were acted in these R&B soul videos. One thing I realized I had to do was watch more videos that scripted relationship scenes just like in the actual song foolish by ashanti. I already had pictures in my mind of myself and the actor finding ways to recreate a type of feelings of old school throwback vibes and looks. In order to get this type of look some senses will have to be more dimmed and props and costumes will look more old school and less advanced things we have in the year 2020.  1.  How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? My product uses challenges and conventions through there being different options and options to choose from. The definition of a vacuum is " an electrical apparatus that by means of suction collects dust and small particles from floors and other surfaces.'' Now this Can represent social groups or issues due to the competitiveness of how different vacuums work and which ones are better. For example my product specifically the shark rotator vacuum could cause issues because this is the one vacuum that has a powerful lift away and the most powerful suction.
