 1.  How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? My product uses challenges and conventions through there being different options and options to choose from. The definition of a vacuum is " an electrical apparatus that by means of suction collects dust and small particles from floors and other surfaces.'' Now this Can represent social groups or issues due to the competitiveness of how different vacuums work and which ones are better. For example my product specifically the shark rotator vacuum could cause issues because this is the one vacuum that has a powerful lift away and the most powerful suction. Someone could argue how there vacuum is better then mines and that's how it causes social groups through commercials or adds there are going to be hundreds of the same type of product but in different form and with different techniques. 2.  For my first commercial blog this was quite a interesting project. I didn't do everything a hundred percent correctly but I tried and from my perspective and others I did a good job. There are plenty of ways I can improve on this and I wish I could go back and fix my two clips that I recorded vertically but sense I cant im still content with my final product. Coming into this I thought there was going to be a lot of complications and confusion but surprisingly it went smoothly. Looking back I feel if I had the help of someone or better settings to film this project commercial it would have made it look real legit because two brains are better then one. I feel as if this project opened up my first set of skills for filming because I figured everything out by myself. I know there is still a lot to learn about filming and editing and i'm willing to learn all about it.  To begin with when starting my editing process I signed into my laptop and downloaded all my clips from my phone. Once they were all in my downloads I uploaded it to my editing website and I had to line them all up in order and make sure all the clips were converted together all in the right order that they were recorded in. The first problem started here because the time of all my clips together were around 40 seconds and I got stressed thinking that I would have to reshoot everything shorter. Later i realized why it was so long is because I accidently imported my retake clips and the clips I messed up on that I forgot to delete out my phone. Surprisingly when I deleted those extra scenes that didn't need to be there it now was 3 seconds short. I easily fixed that problem later on in editing by making some clips in slow motion which actually looked better that ways anyways because it gave it more of a dramatic effect.  I started filming my commercial on october 21st 2020 with my actress at the filming location. To start off how i started my filming process was by using my regular camera on my phone and filming everything horizontally. I already cleaned my house had all the props witch where my furniture, foods, and plants ready to be used and recorded. We started by the first scene which was on actress dropping her cereal on the ground. This was harder to film then i thought because we had to pick up all the cereal and keep trying to it didn't look like a planned stunt, we wanted it to look more realistic. In this first scene i used the mid shot not to close or to far but just in the middle distance from the actor to show her mess and reaction. In the second scene filmed was the actress getting ready to leave the house knocking over a plant pot of dirt. In this scene the actress looked a bit more natural knocking over the plant because we have already rehearsed the first scene a lot of times and...

 First scene This first scene will take place in the kitchen with a mess being presented on the floor. I will be planning on doing a voice over while this scene is occuring. The actress will be making a bowl of cereal and right before she goes to poor the milk the cereal will fall off the counter lading on the ground. I plan to be talking about through this scene how "we all know how are houses dont stay neat and tidy one second it can go from a perfect house to the next disaster."  Sceond scene In this second scene I plan on keeping the moral of commercial going and making another mess in a different area. In this scene it will be the actress getting ready to leave the house, as she is leaving the door her purse hits the plant pot and it falls over leaving a mess and dirt pile. The purpose of this scene as well is to show the audience that there are normal everyday scenarios that is going to lead up to needed the shark rotator vacuum.  Props : The props me and the actress will using to conduct the shark rotator vacuum commercial will the main necessities I feel need to be included to convey our product to the audience. The main prop will obviously be the shark rotator vacuum we will use this through out most of the commercial showing you details and how it functions. Other props that will be used through out the commercial will be furniture, foods, and plants. In This we will have one main actress demonstrating with these props everyday scenarios that occured in house holds with these props as examples to which why the shark rotator would come in to play.  Costumes : In this commercial with our main actress as the demonstration subject she will be wearing a varity of things. In the first scene she would be presented in something casual and comfy because she would be home.   I will be conducting a commercial on the Shark rotator vacuum. Things in this commercial that you usually see on television is explaining the pros of the newly added features that the vacuum can now do. The way the new shark rotator vacuum commercials are conducted is by showing how this vacuum is a upgrade from all the previous shark vacuums invented and by doing so they must present all the new gadgets and various ways this one works differently from the rest.The way they show the audience the pros of this vacuum is by demonstrating things the shark rotator can do that will be beneficial to families that make messes easily. A way to help do that is by using props like foods and drinks spilled on rugs, tile, and wood.
